The Decscope came in two versions: 1974 model VT50 with 12 rows and 80 columns of upper-case text, same as the VT05. 1975 model VT52 which looks identical on the outside now supported 24 rows and 80 columns, with 96 ASCII characters, graphics characters and bi-directional scrolling with an expanded control character system.
